Alley Ventures
In 2003, LifeScience Alley™ created Alley Ventures LLC to address the lack of early stage funding for emerging companies in medical technology, bioscience, and the broader life sciences. Early stage funding is critical in getting ideas off the ground, and by combining the capital resources with the expertise of LifeScience Alley and its members, Alley Ventures has an excellent opportunity to provide strong returns to its investors and to act as an accelerator to help portfolio companies mature more quickly and gain market entry sooner. To this end, LifeScience Alley created Alley Ventures Fund I, a seed and early stage venture capital fund, which is currently in the initial fundraising stage.
