LifeScience Alley hosts two annual conferences: the LifeScience Alley Conference & Expo, and the MedTech Investing Conference. The Conference & Expo takes place in the 4th quarter of each year and the MedTech Investing Conference occurs in May of each year. Both of these conferences are aimed at promoting growth of the life sciences through education, collaboration, and innovation.

This is the largest gathering of life science leaders in the Upper Midwest with over 1,600 attendees expected, representing the medical device, biopharma, pharmaceutical, health care, food and nutrition, agricultural and industrial biotechnology, and renewable energy sectors. In 2008, attendees hailed from 27 states and a dozen countries and a similar representation is expected in 2009. The conference will feature 4 keynote addresses, 21 seminars, New Technology Showcase, Juried Poster Session, Legislative Hearing, Collaboration & Innovation Center, and an exhibit hall featuring a Networking Reception and over 160 displays. 8th Annual MedTech Investing Conference
Every May, LifeScience Alley & International Business Forum (IBF) host the MedTech Investing Conference. The goal of this conference is to create an educational and collaborative forum for emerging medical technology companies and venture capitalists to connect. We bring together expert panelists, speakers, and instructors who are leaders in their field, in order to educate both sides on successfully navigating the process of financing and bringing new medical products / devices to market.
